How do my invitations come to me? All your background papers will arrive as full sheets or in rolls, depending upon the paper. If you need to borrow a large cutting surface, you can arrange to use our large work table to measure and cut them yourself. Your invitation can be formatted on your computer and the vellum which comes in sheets of 8" ½ x 11" is printed through your home printer using either an inkjet or laser printer. For large quantities we suggest a copying service.
The ribbon is measured to the nearest yard required. Then all you have to do is gather up some friends and put your package together. We supply an instruction sheet as well as a completed invitation.
What's Vellum? The original vellum was the inner lining of a sheep's stomach on which important documents were written. We carry a synthetic vellum in sheets of 8" ½ x 11". It can be formatted 4 per sheet and easily slides through your printer.
How much paper should I buy? We can help in calculating your invitation requirements but we recommend you also consider your next steps - paper for wedding programs, menus, place cards and thank yous. Buy as much paper as you think you will need for your entire project.
What's a Wedding Gram? There's a lot of wisdom out there. Place pens and decorative paper on each table at the reception with the instructions "Please write a bit of advice, a helpful hint or simply your good wishes for the bride and groom". Keep them displayed in clear glass vase. They will be gentle reminders and bring you lots of laughs as well.
